In memory of the composer Isaac Manuel Francisco Albéniz, born in Camprodón (Gerona) on May 29, 1860, and to commemorate the one hundred anniversary of his death next May, a cicle of concerts, known as "Albéniz in context", will take place in the Albéniz Foundation Sony Auditorium and at the National Auditorium. Conclusion of the recording of Albéniz' Iberia, a double CD that also includes Azulejos, La Vega, and Navarra. The recording took place at the Auditorio de Tenerife and will be released in May under the label of the Spanish Musicological Society (SEDEM).
